'No, I never had sex with that woman.'  The lie that launched a thousand inquiries. For those of you who don't know, Monica Lewinsky was the woman that he never had sex with numerous times in his private office, which led to his non-impeachment.

Why wasn't Bill buying Monica's groceries years ago?  I'm surprised he never paid her off after the whole thing 'blew' over.  Now she's broke and writing a 'memoir' of their time together and I'm sure she's got some cute anecdotes to share.  I can't wait to read it, although I hope it's written by an expert who knows what to do with all the juicy bits. But truly, wouldn't a book about his drug trafficking and dirty dealings out of Arkansas have made for better reading?

This is what will happen - Bill will secretly meet with Monica (no, not for sex this time!) and talk her out of writing the book by making a quiet donation to her bank account and Monica will forget she ever had the idea of writing a book about him splooging all over her blue dress.  It's about time she got to the book, but what was he thinking that he didn't pay her off years ago!
